Job summary

Creative Care Resources is seeking Direct Support Staff in Hopkins, MN for overnight care from 10 pm to 8 am. You will assist individuals with daily activities, ensure safety, and support community access while documenting needs and communicating with the team.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and English proficiency. Training is provided; full-time benefits include medical, dental, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Desire, skills and abilities to work with persons with special needs (training provided).
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Full Time requires working a minimum 30 hours per week.
• Part Time hours are between 7 and 30 hours per week.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, take stairs, bending/twisting, kneeling/crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to count and manage money.
• Operator of basic equipment such as calculator, telephone, household appliances, fire and alarm systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience with persons with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overnight shifts are typically 10 pm to 8 am the following day.
• Engage with individuals to support growth and provide high-quality care from start to finish of the shift.
• Help individuals access the community safely and communicate effectively with the team.
• Be reliable with transportation and punctual for shifts.

Creative Care Resources Direct Support Staff

We are a company that specializes in enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing creative and quality care in all areas of their lives! We are looking for staff that are dependable, energetic, and quick on their feet and are committed to helping our individuals live their best life! Creative Care Resources overnight shifts are typically from 10 pm to 8 am the following day. During overnight shifts, staff are expected to follow all of the trainings and procedures as daytime staff, but they do have the ability to sleep if the individuals are also asleep and in a safe setting.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
