Job summary

ELEVATE is hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide daily care and oversight for clients in the Intensive Residential Support Home. You will assist with meals, daily living tasks, personal care, and help promote community involvement.

The DSP will contribute to medication administration when certified, maintain client confidentiality, and report changes to the Program Manager. Shift is 8 PM to 8 AM, 3rd shift, with 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license required.
• At least 1 year experience with individuals with mental illness or multi-occurring conditions.
• Medication manager training preferred (will be trained if not certified).
• Experience supporting activities of daily living and behavioral supports desired.

Responsibilities

• Treat all clients with dignity, respect and value.
• Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of clients on shift.
• Complete required trainings and documentation on shift.
• Administer medications if certified and document in MAR.
• Provide support for personal goals and daily living activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed.
