Job summary

My Life My Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional to passionately support residents in our home settings. DSPs assist with daily activities, respect individual routines, and contribute to meaningful, satisfying lives for 4-6 resident communities in CILA homes.

Starting base pay is $19.05–$21.05 per hour. An additional $1.00 raise occurs after completing medication pass certification; there is an option to apply for our Direct Support Professional Career Training Program.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver's license.
• A High School diploma or GED is required and must provide proof.
• A criminal background check and physical is required to meet requirements of the position.
• The background check includes the DCFS/CANTS check for abuse/neglect with children.
• You must also be able to complete and meet the reading and comprehension quiz at the interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to individuals in their home, assisting with daily activities and routines.
• Respect and accommodate each resident's individual routines and preferences.
