Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking an Overnight Direct Care Staff member in Marshalltown, IA. This full-time, onsite role offers starting pay of $15.25 per hour and paid training, with on-demand pay and a referral bonus program.

You’ll support individuals in daily living, build trusting relationships, and promote community inclusion while gaining healthcare and advocacy experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• A clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful clearance of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in reaching personal and developmental goals, from budgeting and nutrition to community activities and recreation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships as a mentor, advocate, and friend.
• Take initiative every day in a role where your ideas and dedication are valued.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and outings.
• Promote inclusion by helping individuals engage with their communities and enjoy their favorite events.
