REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Direct Support Professional in Boone, IA. Earn $17.00/hour with full-time hours and access to on-demand pay, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k) with company match.

You will empower individuals to achieve personal goals, build trusted relationships, and promote inclusion while assisting with daily living tasks and community participation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have access to a registered vehicle during all shifts.
• Valid Driver's license for at least one year without restrictions.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
• Reliable, responsible attitude.
• Compassionate approach and a commitment to quality.

• Empower individuals to achieve personal and developmental goals—from budgeting and nutrition to community involvement and recreation.
• Build meaningful connections—act as a trusted mentor, advocate, and friend to those you support.
• Take initiative and make a difference daily with support of leaders who value your ideas.
• Champion inclusion by helping people access communities, attend events, and pursue activities.
• Assist with meal prep, medication, personal care, and outings to help participants enjoy life.
• Support daily living and personal hygiene; address behavioral challenges with patience.
