Job summary

Lifesteps, a local service agency serving adults with disabilities, seeks Overnight Direct Care Aide for Beaver Falls, PA. Work involves assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and transport in a residential home setting. Paid training is provided and shifts include overnights 11 pm–7 am.

Full-time options exist with flexible scheduling and a supportive team. Must be at least 18, capable of lifting up to 200 lbs, and able to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• No experience necessary; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities including dressing, meals, bathing.
• Provide personal care and transportation to appointments.
• Support with housekeeping tasks and shopping for groceries/supplies.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Engage residents in community outings and activities.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties can include:

• Cooking and serving meals


• Cleaning the house


• Shopping for groceries and supplies


• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing


• Medication administration


• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnights 11 pm to 7 am

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.
