Job summary

Helping Hearts USA LLC in Brentwood/Nashville area is seeking a professional, well-groomed male caregiver for overnight in-home support. You will ensure safety, provide personal care, and maintain the client's dignity while offering companionship in a dementia-focused routine.

Experience with memory care, calm communication, and the ability to use music to soothe is highly preferred. CPR/First Aid certifications are required; reliable transportation and a consistent overnight schedule are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven caregiving experience in home care or memory care settings.
• Able to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality for overnight coverage.
• Calm demeanor, patience, and sound judgment.
• Professional appearance and high personal hygiene standards.
• Reliable transportation to commute to client home.
• Ability to follow a documented care plan and communicate clearly.
• Must complete onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Overnight safety supervision and alertness from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Provide dementia/Alzheimer's support with calm, clear cues.
• Assist with personal care and transfers as needed overnight.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce anxiety.
• Incorporate music to promote calm and connection when suitable.
• Prepare light snacks and encourage hydration per plan.
• Keep the environment tidy and manage light housekeeping.
• Document overnight updates and report changes promptly.
• Transport to approved errands if included in the care plan.
