Job summary

Helping Hearts USA LLC is seeking a professional male caregiver for an overnight dementia care case in the Brentwood/Nashville area. The role runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a focus on safety, companionship, personal care and calm overnight supervision.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least five years of caregiving experience; CPR and First Aid certifications are required. This is a non-medical in-home position offering full-time or part-time hours and a stable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years caregiving experience.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or a related setting.
• Ability to provide personal care confidently and respectfully.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Calm demeanor, patience, and sound judgment.
• Professional appearance and hygiene.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow care plans and documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Overnight Safety Supervision: Stay awake, alert, and monitor for fall risks and unsafe behaviors.
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s Support: Use calm communication and redirection.
• Personal Care Assistance: Help with toileting, grooming, and mobility.
• Companionship and Emotional Support: Provide reassuring presence and engagement.
• Music-Supported Care: Use calming music to promote relaxation.
• Meal, Snack, and Hydration Support: Prepare light snacks and encourage fluids.
• Light housekeeping related to care: Clean, organize, and manage client space.
• Documentation and Communication: Record observations and report changes promptly.
