Job summary

Morris & Dickson Co. is seeking a Floor Technician to support 3rd shift operations focused on facility cleanliness and floor maintenance. You will operate ride-on floor sweepers and assist with pallet movement and basic production tasks in a large distribution center.

The role requires at least one year of shipping/receiving/inventory experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and basic computer skills. Training for forklifts is provided, and the position offers comprehensive benefits and solid

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
1 year+ shipping/receiving/inventory experience preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, dollies and other carts.
Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
Interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proven problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment and sweepers.
Overnight floor maintenance and facility cleaning tasks.
Support distribution center operations including pallet movement.
Assist with material movement, pallet haulage, and basic production tasks.
Support inventory flow and staging of materials; place products accurately and safely.
