Job summary

Morris & Dickson Co. seeks a reliable Floor Technician for 3rd shift to maintain cleanliness and support distribution center tasks. You will operate ride-on sweepers, move pallets, and assist with basic production while ensuring safe, organized workspaces.

Required is a minimum of one year in shipping/receiving, a HS diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork. Training for forklift operation is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other carts.
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Strong team player with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean the facility and operate ride-on floor sweepers.
• Maintain large warehouse floor areas and monitor equipment.
• Move efficiently during overnight operations.
• Haul pallets and assist with material movement.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided).
• Assist with box making and basic production tasks.
• Support inventory flow and staging of materials.
• Place products in designated locations accurately and safely.
