Job summary

Vanderbilt Health CT Scanner department seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direction of the Director of Medical Imaging Services, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate data entry in RIS/PACS as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, monitoring patients, participating in on-call coverage, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate care across ages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program.
• Licensure by ARRT or equivalent (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT related radiographic equipment and perform radiologic procedures.
• Participate in On Call requirements to support CT services.
• Manage department workflow and ensure data is recorded in RIS/PACS.
• Identify each patient, review orders for consistency, and document pertinent data.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to radiologists and care team.
• Adhere to safety procedures and compliance and ethics guidelines.
