Job summary

Vanderbilt Health’s Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to support diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Director of Medical Imaging Services. The role involves operating CT equipment, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with Radiologists to promote high-quality patient care.

Shifts are overnight weekday hours (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM). The ideal candidate will have ARRT licensure, qualify as a CT technologist, and bring relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT licensure (or equivalent) is required.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
• Experience level: Less than 1 year; relevant work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT-related radiographic equipment and perform radiological procedures per department standards.
• Operate the PACS and manage radiographic supplies.
• Participate in on-call coverage for CT services and back-up for other shifts.
• Identify patients, review orders for consistency, and record data in RIS/PACS.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to Radiologist.
• Organize patient care and prioritize according to physician orders and patient needs.
