American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an overnight hospital-based radiology assignment in Morristown, NJ. ARRT CT certification and NJ X-ray licensure are required, along with BLS and a radiography program completion.

The role involves performing CT scans, operating PACS/RIS, and Epic charting in a hospital setting. Shifts are 13 hours, Thursday through Saturday, 7pm–8am, with on-call duties and potential to float to a nearby sister hospital as needed.

Qualifications

• ARRT RT (R) and CT certification required.
• NJ State X-Ray License required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• HS diploma/GED required.
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program required.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based radiology department performing CT scanning procedures.
• PM shift schedule, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7pm-8am overnight.
• 13-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 39 hours weekly.
• On-call required.
• Potential to float to a sister hospital nearby as needed.
• Uses PACS/RIS system for image acquisition and processing.
• Epic charting.
• Prepare patients and equipment for CT procedures, maintain sterile fields, verify patient identification.
• Monitor patients during and after contrast injections and respond to emergencies.
