American Traveler seeks a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment in the radiology department. The role requires ARRT (R) CT certification and BLS, with an accredited Radiologic Technologist program background.

The position includes 13 weeks on night shift with 36 hours per week and potential cross-training in MRI/DEXA/Mammography. Candidates should have PACS/RIS experience and IV/contrast administration proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active state license required if applicable.
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) including Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• Current BLS certification required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
• 2 years of prior CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Cross-training in MRI, DEXA, or Mammography preferred.
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems preferred.
• Proficiency in IV placement and contrast administration required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic imaging department performing CT and X-ray procedures.
• Assists radiologist with routine and interventional CT procedures.
• Performs X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures including C-arm and OR work.
• 13-week assignment on night shift.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• May be required to assist in other modalities, adjust schedules, or take call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
• Responsible for patient positioning, image acquisition, and technical quality evaluation for CT scans.
• Practices radiation safety in accordance with ALARA standards.
• Maintains accurate patient records including charging procedures and supplies.
• May assist, train, or cross-train other imaging staff members.
• Responsible for ordering, stocking, and maintaining supply inventory.
• Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
