Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in Campbell, CA is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant for the Emergency department on overnights. You will support veterinarians during treatments, monitor critical patients, and help provide around-the-clock care.

The role requires ER/CCU experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to calculate drug doses and manage records. Schedule is 3x12 or 4x10 overnight shifts, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2+ years of ER/CCU experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform drug dose calculations, CRIs, client invoices and estimates.
• Maintain VACSP; must obtain within 60 days or have CA-RVT license.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures.
• Monitor critically ill or injured patients.
• Collaborate for around-the-clock care and treatment coordination.
• Provide compassionate care to patients and owners.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Assist with diagnostics such as bloodwork and imaging.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
• Communicate updates to pet owners and discuss treatment plans.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide emergency care as needed.
