Job summary

Pathways, Inc. in Bath, NY is hiring an Overnight Counselor to provide supervision and therapeutic care for youth in OMH residences. Starting wage has increased to $18.28–$20.85 per hour with a $2.00 overnight shift differential, depending on experience.

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience with children and/or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.
• An Associate's degree is preferred.
• Requires a valid driver’s license to operate agency owned vehicles.
• Must meet School Age Care/Day Care/Mental Health regulations regarding a State Central Register clearance and criminal history review.

This position is responsible for assuring that program youth are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner.

• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
• Requires a valid drivers' license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency owned vehicles.
