Job summary

Pathways, Inc. in Canandaigua, NY is seeking an Overnight Counselor to provide safe, therapeutic supervision for youth in our OMH residences. This regular full-time role offers an hourly wage between $18.28 and $20.85, with an additional $2.00 overnight shift differential based on related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience with children/adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.
• An Associates degree is preferred.
• Must meet regulatory clearances and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for program youth in a safe, therapeutic manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant School Age Care, Day Care, and Mental Health regulations.

Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for assuring that program youth are adequately supervised and cared for in a safe and therapeutic manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma and experience with children and/or adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. An Associates degree is preferred.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children and Criminal History Review for criminal convictions.
• Requires a valid drivers’ license that meets insurability guidelines to operate agency owned vehicles.
