Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Overnight availability required.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Experience with access control systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiar with Slack or similar workplace messaging.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility.
• Operate C-Cure access control systems to manage doors and badges.
• Use D-Boss/Site Pass to process access tickets.
• Update fingerprints in BioConnect for biometric readers.
• Monitor CCTV and detect unusual or suspicious activity.
• Check in visitors and authorize access.
• Use an intercom to communicate with visitors.
• Coordinate with operations via radio.
• Enforce site security policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; prepare reports.
• Provide professional service to employees, visitors, vendors.
• Collaborate with security staff, management, and client personnel.
• Use Slack for workplace communication and MS Office for admin tasks.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment.
