Overnight Security Officer – Orangeburg, NY

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr.

We are currently seeking professional and dependable Overnight Security Officers to join our team at a secure corporate environment in Orangeburg, NY. This position is ideal for security professionals who are attentive, customer-service oriented, and capable of maintaining a high level of professionalism in a critical facility.

Position Details

• Location: Orangeburg, NY
• Pay Rate: $23.00/hr.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on operational needs
• Must be available to work overnnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility
• Use C-Cure access control systems to open doors, manage badge access, and create badges
• Use D-Boss/Site Pass to read, understand, and process tickets authorizing access to the site
• Use the BioConnect system to update and add fingerprints to badges for access to biometric readers throughout the facility
• Monitor CCTV systems diligently and remain vigilant for unusual or suspicious activity
• Ensure all visitors are properly checked in and authorized before granting access
• Use an intercom system to communicate professionally with visitors requiring access to the building
• Communicate effectively with the operations team via radio
• Enforce site security policies, procedures, and access control protocols
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors
• Collaborate effectively with fellow Security Officers, management, and client personnel
• Utilize Slack for workplace communication and messaging
