Job summary

The Moore in Miami, FL is looking for a reliable and experienced Overnight Cook to join our culinary team. This role requires preparing and cooking high-quality meals during overnight hours, ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen. You'll support early breakfast services, room service requests, and late-night dining needs.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety practices, and the ability to work independently overnight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen or line cook experience; hotel experience a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food items according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen throughout the shift.
• Monitor food stock and report any shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure food is stored properly and at correct temperatures.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with local health codes.
• Assist with prepping ingredients for the next day’s service.
• Handle special guest requests for late‑night dining or room service.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
