Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Concierge Security Officer for the Ft. Lauderdale Regional Office, combining security duties with customer service.

The ideal candidate has security experience and Florida D License; weekend and overnight hours are required.

This full-time/part-time role pays $20/hour, with benefits including medical, life, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans. Relocation is not required and reports to the security supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience required.
• Valid Florida Security D License required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills preferred.

• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight hours.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a courteous manner
• Monitor access to the property and follow established security procedures
• Conduct security checks and monitor the assigned area
• Respond appropriately to security concerns and incidents
• Assist with guest and visitor inquiries as needed
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation
• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
• Follow all company and client policies and procedures
