Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an overnight Community Residence Counselor to provide direct patient care and participate in the therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice. You will conduct group and individual counseling per the current treatment plan.

The role includes documenting encounters, leading patient groups, and ensuring safe operation within the treatment environment, with emphasis on supervision and teamwork in a psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One year patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete clear, concise, and timely documentation, including encounter forms and shift notes.
• Establish helpful relationships with patients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Lead and co-lead patient groups.
• Supervise medication administration and report missed doses to appropriate staff.
• Maintain the therapeutic milieu and ensure patient safety.
