Job summary

Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA I, II) for the overnight shift. Responsibilities include direct resident care, infection control, and adherence to the facility’s policies and procedures.

The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, safety checks, and documentation under the supervision of the Staff Nurse. The role requires completion of an approved CNA training program and passing competency exams, with ability to communicate professionally

Qualifications

• Must possess comprehensive knowledge of good resident care practices.
• Must understand the facility’s Exposure Control Plan.
• Must be able to explain procedures involving exposure to blood contamination as designated in the Exposure Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, hands-on resident care as assigned in the plan of care.
• Identifies safety hazards and takes corrective action per policies.
• Performs tasks such as assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting and mobility.
