Qualifications

• Credentials in clinical laboratory science are required or explicitly stated for foreign education equivalency.
• ASCP BOC or AMT certification eligibility is acceptable for foreign education equivalency.
• Education must be from a recognized institution per U.S. DOE standards.

Responsabilités

• Recognizes and defines testing problems and evaluates solution methods.
• Prepare specimens for analysis and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Select, perform, and monitor non-routine test procedures using manual/instrument methods.
• Write reports identifying methods and results and communicate with the appropriate staff.
• Maintain professional currency through education and training.
