Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, seeks a Custom Quality Analyst II in Coralville, IA. The role focuses on evaluating products per ISO standards, performing in-process and final QC testing, and ensuring pass/fail status using diverse molecular biology methods and equipment.

You will join the Custom Quality Control team reporting to the Manager of Custom Quality Control at IDT, with an on-site schedule from noon to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred).
• At least 2 years applicable lab experience.

• Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy per lab procedures.

The Custom Quality Analyst II is responsible for evaluating products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements. This evaluation involves performing in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products by using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment.

This position reports to the Manager of Custom Quality Control, is part of the Custom Quality Control department located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Monday - Friday, noon to 9:00 pm.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications.
• Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with lab procedures.
• Perform maintenance and calibration on a variety of specialized equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an associate’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience.
• At least 2 years applicable lab experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
if applicable for role

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• PCR and qPCR
• Next Generation Sequencing
• Enzymatics
