Triumvirate Environmental in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Equipment Operator and CDL Driver for overnight assignments. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials, operate Class A vehicles, and perform inspections and logs in compliance with DOT and EPA rules.

This role combines heavy equipment operation, field activities, and on-site labor to support environmental remediation and emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing to consent to background checks and drug screening.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including overnights and travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and attachments safely and efficiently.
• Safely drive commercial vehicles including tankers and box trucks in compliance with regulations.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
• Read blueprints and install piping; set catch basins.
• Assist with environmental remediation and emergency spill response.
• Transport containerized hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Load/unload drums and containers; perform physical tasks as required.
• Maintain logs and ensure DOT driver qualifications are met.
• Support after-hours, weekend, and on-call activities.
