Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking an Overnight Street Sweeper for the Rancho Cordova, CA area. This full-time, third-shift position offers $25 per hour with eligibility for a first pay increase at 6 months and minimal travel (1-10%).

You will operate a street sweeper, perform safety inspections, and ensure route efficiency while maintaining high safety standards. You will work on assigned routes, adhere to company procedures, and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Compliance: Pass MVR check, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned routes, drive the street sweeper and operate equipment.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety features.
• Report equipment issues or incidents promptly to management.
• Maintain professional communication with team, supervisors and clients.
• Complete logs and forms accurately and adhere to schedules.
