Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an Overnight Street Sweeper for a full-time 3rd shift. You will operate a street sweeper on assigned routes, perform required inspections, and ensure safe, high-quality street cleaning for the community.

Minimum qualifications include High School or GED, CDL-B with DOT Medical Card, 1 year DOT driving experience preferred, must be 21+, and capable of passing MVR and background checks as well as a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience preferred in waste/recycling.
• CDL-B and DOT Medical Card required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• MVR, background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Review routes and complete jobs within allotted time with quality.
• Operate street sweeper safely following traffic laws and procedures.
• Handle materials and disposal per site requirements.
• Report equipment issues, incidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with team and clients.
• Complete logs, manifests and forms accurately.
• Be adaptable and solve issues timely.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
