Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers between yards and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle locations. This overnight role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement and adherence to DOT rules.

You’ll work Sunday–Thursday, starting at 6:30 PM, with approx 11 hours of drive time and up to 14 hours of duty time. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks pre/post trip and inspect equipment per DOT rules.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes and manage paperwork.
• Hook/unhook procedures and secure loads.
• Maintain logs of hours of service per regulations.
