Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking CDL-A delivery drivers in Oakland, CA, to transport food and related products to customers on intrastate and interstate routes. The driver will handle unloading, documentation, and customer interactions with a focus on safety and on-time delivery.

Shifts run 4–5 days per week, 10–12 hours, with overnight and early-morning dispatch. Starting pay is $350 per day with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for growth within the distribution system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL-A license required.
• DOT Health Card and driving record must be valid.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders via tractor trailer or straight truck following routes and schedules.
• Conduct pre/post trip safety inspections and DOT-compliant paperwork.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Unload products and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Maintain clean, secure trailers and report safety issues immediately.
