Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to service a diverse base of customers, including independent restaurants and institutions. The role emphasizes safe driving, on-time delivery, and professional customer interaction across intrastate, interstate, and overnight routes.

The position requires 12+ months of commercial driving experience, a current CDL-A, a clean MVR, and DOT health certification. Benefits start at day one, with health, retirement, and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 12+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL-A license
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines
• Performs safety checks including pre/post trip inspections
• Delivers customer orders according to schedule and secures freight
• Verifies deliveries and obtains proper signatures
• Unloads products to designated storage areas and handles returns as needed
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly
• Maintains equipment, trailers, and loading docks in a clean, safe condition
