Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A Driver to join our delivery team in the United States. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe, timely delivery of food products to customers and maintaining customer relationships.

The role requires night shifts (3am–6am) with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule and flexibility for overtime. Competitive pay, benefited from Day 1, and opportunities for growth support a rewarding career in food

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift/move freight up to 90 lbs.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers, answering questions accurately.
• Operates as a team member and supports department needs.
• Completes safety checks and inspections per DOT requirements.
• Reports safety issues and repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Secures trailer and freight, inspects for proper loading.
• Records hours of service and paperwork accurately.
• Drives and delivers orders on assigned routes.
• Unloads products and assists with returns and damaged goods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
