Job summary

Heartland Family Service seeks a Case Manager III for Bluffside Men’s Recovery, a new clinically managed high-intensity residential program serving adult men with co-occurring disorders. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, safety, and engagement within a structured milieu, with daily supervision, coaching, and group activities.

The position involves shift-based scheduling, including overnight coverage, and requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in behavioral health/residential care.
• Training in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, CPR/First Aid, and de-escalation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Milieu Supervision & Client Support: provide continuous supervision and support in residential setting; ensure client safety; maintain structured, recovery-focused environment.
• Behavioral Coaching & Skills Reinforcement: support treatment plan implementation; provide redirection and reinforcement of coping skills; assist with daily living skills and routines.
• Group Facilitation (Non-Clinical): facilitate recovery-oriented and psychoeducational groups (peer support, life skills, wellness and recovery skills).
• Observation & Documentation: monitor/document client behavior, engagement, safety concerns; complete daily shift docs and weekly progress reports; communicate updates to staff.
• Team Collaboration: work with clinical and operational staff to support goals; provide input on client behavior and milieu dynamics; uphold program expectations across shifts.
