Job summary

Heartland Family Service in Iowa is seeking a Case Manager III (overnights) to join the Women and Children Center in a 24/7 residential program serving women and their children. This full‑time overnight role provides direct care, supervision, and case management, with an emphasis on trauma‑informed practices and collaborative teamwork.

The ideal candidate has an Associates degree in a human services field (Bachelor's preferred) and 1–2 years of related experience; recovery experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or related field preferred.
• One to two years of experience in human services field preferred.
• Alcohol/drug abuse experience preferred but not required.
• Applicants who identify as being in recovery have a minimum of two years of sustained/continuous recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support for participants 24/7 in the residential program.
• Assist staff in implementing case management activities and goals for Women and Children Center clients.
• Develop supportive relationships with clients.
• Advocate for clients in the community.
• Maintain records and statistics.
