Job summary

Heartland Family Service is seeking a Case Manager III (overnights) to serve women and their children in a residential substance abuse treatment facility. The role includes 24/7 direct care duties, case management, education and support programming, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have 2+ years in recovery recommended, degrees in human services fields, and experience with trauma-informed approaches.

The position offers a night shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or a related field required
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or a related field preferred
• One to two years of experience in human services field preferred
• Alcohol/drug abuse experience preferred but not required
• Applicants who identify as being in recovery have a minimum of two years of sustained recovery
• Certified med-aide preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and support for program participants as part of residential program staffing 24/7.
• Assists staff in implementing case management activities for Women and Children Center clients.
• Develops supportive relationships with clients and advocates for them in the community.
• Maintains required records and statistical information.
• Participates in interdisciplinary family/case staffing to obtain information and assist with service planning.

Education

AssociatesDegree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or a related field

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or a related field

One to two years of experience in human services field

Alcohol/drug abuse experience

Recovery required (2+ years)

Certified med-aide preferred
