Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Overnight Care Assistant to support a private in-home client in the North Lee’s Summit/South Blue Springs area. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in a 24/7 home setting.

The role requires reliability, compassion, and strong communication to ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for the client. 8:00 PM–8:00 AM shifts with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, either life experience or professional care, is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support as per care plan.
• Assist with transfers and mobility with safety.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Ensure safety and privacy during all care activities.
• Document care provided and follow care plan instructions.
• Communicate respectfully with client, family, and co-workers.

Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an OVERNIGHT Care Assistant Needed – Private In-Home Care (N. Lee’s Summit/S. Blue Springs Area)

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Lee’s Summit. This is private in-home care for a physically disabled adult recovering from an injury (non-senior).

Preferred Schedule

8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Additional hours/shifts may be available for the right fit.

About the Client

• Restroom needs
• Showering and personal care (good organization and attention to detail are important)
• Light housekeeping
• Transfers (some lifting required, but not heavy)

Position Requirements

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, multiple times throughout shift and assist with transfers safely
• Strong bedside manner and respectful communication
• Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive
