Job summary
Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is seeking overnight in-home caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCPs to provide consistent, compassionate care for a small set of clients in a home setting. The role focuses on overnight shifts, typically from 7p to 7a, with opportunities for full-time or part-time work.
Applicants should have one or more years of caregiving experience, be able to stay awake overnight, and pass a background check.
Qualifications
- One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility.
- Ability to stay awake and alert during overnight shifts.
- Pass a background check and have valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Stay awake and alert during the overnight shift, keeping clients safe at home.
- Assist with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning.
- Support evening and morning routines for clients.
- Reassure and redirect clients who wake during the night.
- Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep during quiet hours.
- Report changes in a client’s condition to the care team.
- Complete required annual training through Caregiver University.
