Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is seeking overnight in-home caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCPs to provide consistent, compassionate care for a small set of clients in a home setting. The role focuses on overnight shifts, typically from 7p to 7a, with opportunities for full-time or part-time work.

Applicants should have one or more years of caregiving experience, be able to stay awake overnight, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility.
• Ability to stay awake and alert during overnight shifts.
• Pass a background check and have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Stay awake and alert during the overnight shift, keeping clients safe at home.
• Assist with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning.
• Support evening and morning routines for clients.
• Reassure and redirect clients who wake during the night.
• Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep during quiet hours.
• Report changes in a client’s condition to the care team.
• Complete required annual training through Caregiver University.

Homewatch CareGivers of Austin is hiring overnight in-home Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Providers. You work with a small set of clients you get to know well, on overnight shifts that stay consistent week to week.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lakeway, West Lake Hills

What You Get

What You'll Do

• Stay awake and alert through the shift, keeping clients safe at home
• Assist with bathroom trips, transfers, and repositioning during the night
• Help with the evening routine at the start of the shift and the morning routine at the end
• Reassure and redirect clients who wake up confused or disoriented
• Handle laundry, light housekeeping, and meal prep during quiet hours
• Report changes in a client's condition to the care team
• Complete 12 hours of annual training through Caregiver University

What We're Looking For

• One or more years of caregiving experience in home care or a skilled facility
• Comfortable working overnight and staying awake through the shift
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• CNA, HHA, or PCP certification preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
