Job summary

D&S Community Services in Ashland, KY, seeks an Overnight Caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs. You will work 4:00 PM–8:00 AM on full-time schedules, with weekend shifts and variable hours based on staffing.

You’ll assist with personal care, support daily living activities, and help participants achieve goals in nutrition, exercise and budgeting, building meaningful relationships and promoting community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services or direct care preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Take initiative to involve participants in community activities and their favorite pursuits.

Ashland Overnight Caregiver

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Schedules Available: Full-time, 32+ hours per week. Overnight shifts (4:00 PM – 8:00 AM), weekend shifts, and varying hours based on staffing needs.

Requirements

• Valid full Driver’s License for a minimum of 12 months after receiving the permit/intermediate and a reliable vehicle with insurance and registration used to transport clients.
• Availability for 2 weeks of paid orientation, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Ability to work overnight and weekend shifts as required by client needs.
