Job summary

Dawson & Dawson Home Care LLC is seeking an Overnight Care Professional to provide attentive, non-medical care to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes while the world sleeps. You will support daily living activities, monitor safety through the night, assist with light household tasks, and offer specialized care for clients with dementia or Parkinson's disease.

Shift options include 7PM–7AM, 8PM–8AM, and 11PM–7/8AM, with case-by-case shift differentials and base pay determined by

Qualifications

• Availability and reliability for overnight shifts.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Stay calm, focused and responsive during nighttime hours and emergencies.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to high-quality care.
• Strong documentation and communication of overnight observations.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive overnight care and support, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and ADLs.
• Monitor client safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night and respond to needs.
• Assist with light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe overnight environment.
• Deliver compassionate care for clients living with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or disabilities.
• Issue medication reminders per each client's nighttime schedule.
• Document all overnight care services, including care notes and incident reports.

Are you a night owl with a heart for service? Join our team as an Overnight Care Professional providing attentive, non-medical care to elderly and disabled individuals in the comfort of their own homes — while the rest of the world sleeps.

At Dawson and Dawson, our overnight caregivers are the backbone of our 24-hour care model. You'll bring peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for through every hour of the night.

Available Overnight Shifts:

• 7PM – 7AM
• 8PM – 8AM
• 11PM – 7/ 8AM

Shift differentials offered on a case-by-case basis. Base rate determined by experience.

What You'll Do:

• Provide attentive overnight care and support, including assistance with grooming, dressing, bathing, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor client safety, comfort, and well being throughout the night, responding promptly to any needs that arise
• Assist with light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable overnight environment
• Deliver compassionate, specialized care for clients living with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, or physical disabilities
• Issue medication reminders in accordance with each client's prescribed nighttime schedule
• Accurately document all overnight care services, including care notes, ADLs, and any incident or change-of-condition reports

What We're Looking For:

• Genuine availability and reliability for overnight shifts — this role requires you to be alert and engaged throughout the night
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and responsive during nighttime hours and in emergency situations
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document and report overnight observations clearly
