Vitalia Mentor in Mentor, OH is hiring a Care Partner for a part-time evening shift. You will provide compassionate care and companionship to residents, assisting with daily living tasks and helping create a home-like environment.

We value empathy, reliability, and teamwork. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to communicate in English. The role includes standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a criminal background check is required.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with Residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
• You must be active; role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background cleared.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Support residents with activities to promote well-being and social engagement.
• Create an inclusive and positive environment through empathy and teamwork.
• Document care activities and communicate with the care team.
