Vitalia Mentor is seeking a Memory Care Support Partner for a part-time role in Mentor, OH. The position runs on a night shift: Monday and Sunday, 11:00pm–7:00am, located at 8180 Mentor Hills, Mentor, OH 44060.

We value empathy, patient observation, and teamwork as essential to resident well-being. A HS diploma, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Salary range is $18–$24 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• You will have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with our Residents.
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents.
• You will possess computer skills to print documents and enter information about our Residents.
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Be an Advocate of Empathy and create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Be a Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests and collaborate to engage them.
• Master the Mise en Scène: set the stage for daily routines and events.
• Life Partner: support residents throughout their day from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition with care.
• Assist orientation of memory care team members.
