Job summary

Achievement Centers for Children is seeking a Program Manager, Overnight at Camp Cheerful in Strongsville, OH. You will lead the overnight respite and camp programs, supervise staff, and ensure safe, engaging experiences for campers and families.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership or program management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends as needed. A valid driver’s license is preferred for local travel.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of leadership, operations, or program management experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory and team leadership skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal programming as needed.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for occasional local travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of overnight respite and camp programs
• Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for all programs
• Supervise, coach, and support program staff while fostering a positive team culture
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• Ensure programs are organized, well prepared, and delivered in accordance with organizational standards
• Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, families, and caregivers regarding program needs and concerns
• Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to support program success
• Monitor program budgets, expenses, and operational resources
• Maintain accurate records, reports, schedules, and program documentation
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, licensing requirements, and safety standards
• Support incident reporting, risk management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Assist with special events, seasonal programming, and other organizational initiatives as assigned
