Job summary

HER Campaign seeks an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to supervise residents in a 24/7 residential treatment setting. You will support daily operations, reinforce treatment plans, and ensure a safe, trauma-informed environment under clinical supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of healthcare or behavioral health experience, with readiness to obtain necessary certifications. This is an on-site overnight position in a non-exempt role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential care, or a related human services environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain required certifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide awake overnight supervision of residents in a structured residential treatment environment.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all residents, ensuring trauma-informed practices are upheld.
• Conduct routine safety checks, monitor resident well-being, and maintain a safe milieu at all times.
• Observe and document medication self-administration and assist with medication observation procedures as required.
• Assist with structured recreational, milieu, and recovery-support activities as directed by staff.
