Mountainside Treatment Center in Canaan, CT is seeking an Overnight Behavioral Health Technician to provide calm, compassionate care during the night shift.

You will monitor clients, conduct bed checks, respond to incidents, and assist with medication counts while maintaining confidential, best-in-class service. This part-time overnight role offers competitive pay with shift differentials and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently overnight in a clinical setting.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Proactive and attentive to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client well-being during the night with bed checks and rounds.
• Maintain a safe, quiet environment through frequent facility rounds.
• Respond to nighttime incidents and emergencies and notify on-call staff.
• Provide emotional support to clients experiencing restlessness or anxiety.
• Perform end-of-day and overnight medication counts with accuracy.
• Document equipment temperature logs and handoffs to the day team.
