Job summary

Destiny Springs Healthcare is seeking an Experienced Behavioral Health Technician to join Destiny Springs Hospital Main – Surprise, AZ. This full-time graveyard role runs Thursday–Saturday overnights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with potential shift differential per policy.

You will support clinical teams and assist patients per care plans, delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff to monitor patient

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by policy.
• CPR/BLS and CPI certification required before direct patient interaction.
• Two years behavioral health technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including monitoring and recording vital signs.
• Assist patients with orientation to treatment plans and care.
• Monitor patient status and report to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Support trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care per care plans.
• Document and complete clerical tasks related to patient care.
