BlueRidge Vista is seeking a Part-Time LSW Intake Assessor to perform overnight behavioral health assessments for adult patients and determine admission needs. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to facilitate admissions and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires an Ohio LSW license, a BSN? (note: actually SW degree) and experience with crisis assessment, with attention to patient safety and confidentiality. This position supports our 24/7 admissions operations.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LSW license is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments for adult patients seeking inpatient psychiatric services.
• Complete timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Assess patient risk including suicide and violence, using established tools.
