Blueridge Vista Behavioral Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced LSW Intake Assessor to perform comprehensive behavioral health assessments for adult patients presenting for psychiatric evaluation and admission.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and referral sources to determine level of care, facilitate admissions, and ensure timely, accurate clinical documentation with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Competenze

• Current Ohio LSW license.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records.

• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.

Schedule: 3 x 12hr's (7pm - 7am with weekend rotation)
Location: Cincinatti, OH
Pay Range: $28 - $34 hr

We offer inpatient services for adult patients, partial hospitalization care, and intensive outpatient care.

Position Summary

The LSW Intake Assessor is responsible for conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments for adult patients presenting for psychiatric evaluation and admission. Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and referral sources, the Intake Assessor determines the appropriate level of care, facilitates admissions, and ensures timely, accurate clinical documentation. This position serves as a key point of contact during the admission process while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in the State of Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records.

Preferred

• Previous experience in psychiatric intake, emergency services, crisis assessment, or inpatient behavioral health.
• Experience with adult behavioral health populations.
• Knowledge of medical necessity criteria and behavioral health level-of-care determinations.
