Job summary

Valor is seeking an overnight Banquet Houseman to perform setup, breakdown, and deep cleaning of banquet spaces according to BEOs. The role requires self-direction, endurance, and accurate, verbose log entries during an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities include moving and stacking equipment, coordinating with Night Audit, and ensuring spaces are event-ready by morning service. Candidates must lift 40+ lbs, work overnight hours, and provide typical black attire and slip-resistant footwear.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated physical capacity to lift and move 40+ lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work overnight hours with flexible start and end times.
• Provide own black pants, black shirt, and slip-resistant black shoes.
• 6 months of banquet, hospitality, warehouse, or custodial experience preferred; overnight experience preferred; entry-level considered

Responsibilities

• Set up and break banquet rooms per BEO specs, including tables, seating, linens, and staging.
• Vacuum, mop, spot-clean carpets, fold linens, and deep clean storage and event areas between events.
• Complete verbose assignment and log entries; submit to Night Audit and manager on duty as required.
• All other duties as assigned
