Job summary

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of bakery experience or completed an apprenticeship, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are at least 18 years old. Knowledge of baking ingredients and processes is preferred.

• Prior bakery or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, form, and bake bakery products using scratch recipes.
• Operate proof boxes, fryers, and freezers to ensure product quality and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work area in compliance with sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory by unloading deliveries and organizing ingredients.
• Provide knowledgeable customer assistance, promote suggestive selling, and ensure product rotation and dating for freshness.
• Follow safety protocols, proper handling procedures, and emergency measures.
• Support other bakery functions as needed to ensure efficient operations.
